about Occasional Golfers Organization

Occasional Golfers’ Organization is a society registered under the Indian Society Act, 1860 on 30th October, 2013 with the idea of promoting golf as a healthy way of life. Seventeen like-minded members met on 13th October, 2013 and came up with the Memorandum of Articles of Association and agreed for contributing to each other’s effort to organize golf tournaments and live life to the full potential. The abbreviated form of the society i.e. OGO literally means ‘Live Life.’

At present there are about 45 members of OGO.

The guiding principles of OGO are:

  • Promoting Golf as a healthy way of life
  • To coordinate, cooperate and contribute for this endeavor
  • To understand and respect each other for developing bonhomie amongst the members
  • To willingly come forward to promote the golf game in every possible manner
  • To create a closely knit group for more meaningful and wholistic interaction
  • Avoiding misunderstandings and disputes by ‘Agreeing to Disagree’ rather than creating conflicts or challenging each other.
